Features of Machine Vision / FA Lenses
TAMRON
Tamron offers a series of fixed focal lenses most suitable for applications in FA and Machine Vision requiring high optical quality.
Thorough Compensation for Distortion
Distortion, the most formidable enemy in image processing, is thoroughly compensated for,
thereby reducing distortion in images to the absolute minimum. As a result,
Tamron's fixed-focal FA/MV lenses provide stabilized performance in the field of precise measuring.
Image Height(mm)
High Resolution from Center to Periphery
Various aberrations are compensated for to the absolute minimum in order to maintain high resolution not only in the center of an image but also to its periphery.
Robust Construction
Each lens employs a robust mechanical construction in order to be durable against vibrations of FA equipment where the lens is built in for an extended period of time.
Superior Locking Mechanisms
Focus and iris control rings are equipped with locking mechanisms in order to prevent position displacements even in environment exposed to severe vibrations.
A complete line-up is prepared.
Compact Design
In consideration of the use with FA equipment, all of the lenses in each series employ compact chassis. In addition, external dimensions of 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 25mm, 50mm and 75mm lenses are unified for common use.
Enhanced Optical Performance in Close-focusing Range
Performance in the close focusing range is greatly improved in order to enhance use in actual application environments. Thanks to reduced minimum object distances, the use of troublesome close-up rings can be avoided.
In addition, optical performance is enhanced down to the periphery in order to meet the needs of 2/3″ format mega-pixel cameras (cameras having 1.3 million pixels).
